story: It has often been seen that the more hype a movie creates before release, the worse it turns out to be afterwards. To some an extent, the same holds true for ‘Blue’ as well. Seriously, the 100 crores spent on the movie could have been put to a much better use, while saving the audience from wasting their money on multiplex tickets as well. What ‘Blue’ suffers from most is the lack of a strong story and good screenplay. In the absence of these two, even the breathtaking visuals and brilliant underwater images by Pete Zuccarini seem to wash out.Anthony D’Souza has taken many cinematic liberties as well. For instance, the treasure buried deep in the sea come from a ship that had sunk in 1949, while coming from Britain to India. Now, the confusion is how did Bahamas (where the ship sank and the treasure was lost) come in the sea route between Britain and India (any guesses?). The slick action sequences and engaging bike sequences surely keep the audience entertained for sometime, but the basic lack of screenplay has an impact here as well and the movie fails to sustain the thrill.The background score of ‘Blue’ is not as winning as a film of its genre should have. The dialogues and musical score are okay, with nothing exceptional. However, the cinematography surely makes you fall in love with Bahamas. The worst part of the movie is that the ‘climax’ suspense seems to be obvious right from the very start. As for performances, Akshay Kumar should seriously start paying some attention to the kind of films that he signs and his character in them. Sanjay Dutt is good, but needs to get back in shape (the paunch looks horrible). Zayed is okay, while Lara Dutta looks hot! In short.

Plot :Fast Forward narrates the tale of two best buddies Rishi (Rehan) and Sunny (Akshay Kapoor). Both are fantastic dancers. The fun loving Sunny finds dancing a great way to express himself and is in love with Rishi’s sister Jeel (Bhavna). (There is an unintentionally hilarious proposal scene between later in the film). Sunny realizes Jeel has purposely kept herself away from her biggest passion – dancing. He goes on to rekindle it but it leads to the revealing of Rishi’s dark past. The finale sets up in a dancing competition called Fast Forward (hence the title) amongst many top dancing groups including Sunny and Rishi’s. Fast Forward is the kind of a film which appears exciting on paper what with all the right ingredients thrown in which many urban youngsters can relate to. But it’s a failure when executed on screen. Neither the script nor the direction nor acting and most importantly neither the music has any fire to keep u interested throughout this 2 hours plus film. Debutante director Zaigham Ali Sayed also squeezes in an unwanted mafia angle to the film in an attempt to give it a thriller edge. But alas, even that doesn’t leave you wanting for more! Music by Akbar Sami is a mega let down, however the dances choreographed by Jhalak Dikhla Ja winner Sonia Jaffer, Vishnu Deva and Seema Desai are the only noteworthy thing of this enterprise. The film features a heady mix of dance sequences (hip hop, Salsa, Rumba, Samba) also add to that B Boying stunts that are packed with high energy. Rehan Khan attempts to be an angry young man only to end up looking a wannabe Sunny Deol. However, he is good in dancing. Akshay Kapoor is okay and impresses with his dancing skills. Bhavna Pani and Sabina complement the boys well with their dancing skills. Mahesh Manjrekar and Vinod Khanna leave their mark as always. Siddhant Karnick needs to improve his acting skills.

STORY: The film stars Venkatesh as Hyderabad’s Police Commissioner, Eshwar Prasad who receives a phone call from an anonymous person (played by Kamal Hassan) demanding the release of four dreaded terrorists. The caller threatens Eshwar Prasad that if he doesn’t comply with the demands, a series of bomb blasts will rock the city. Further he guides a police team to a nearby police station, where he has already planted a bomb to make his intentions clear. The Commissioner, in this hapless condition, relents to all the demands of the anonymous caller. The series of negotiations seem to be going fine, but then a choice changes the whole equation.What is Good: Written by Neeraj Pandey, “Eenadu” has breathtaking pace throughout its narration. A sense of urgency is ubiquitous in everything that occurs on screen. The film also owes its impact to a sensible and sensational portrayal of both Venkatesh and Kamal Hassan. While Venkatesh is at his usual best in the role of a cop; Kamal Hassan’s portrayal of a common man is the focal point of the entire story. The whole drama follows the Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle, with every phone call from Kamal changing the whole equation which hits a crescendo towards the end. Both these actors are wonderfully supported by Dr.Bharat Reddy and Ganesh Venkataraman, both enacting as cops in Commissioner’s office.

The interesting bit is Chandu happens to be the son of Sivaiah but he doesn’t know that until he comes to India to take Mahalakshmi. The father and son meet and what happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Story:Anjaneyulu (Raviteja) works for a television channel as director and he is the son of a retired headmaster called Krishnamurthy (Nazar). Anjaneyulu loves his parents and the latter too pamper him with lots of affection. Once Anjaneyulu come across Anjali (Nayanatara), who was being chased by a gang of goons and our hero teaches them a lesson. Soon, Anjaneyulu falls in love with her and he manages to get back love from Anjali too. Anjaneyulu’s parents visit him and he takes them to Anjali’s house and they express happiness at their son’s selection and fix the alliance. While returning to their village, Anjaneyulu’s parents burn alive as their bus catches fire accidentally. However, he comes to know from his colleague that it was not an accident but a cold-blooded murders perpetrated by some politicians. While going through the details Anjaneyulu comes to know that the home minister (Dandapani) wanted to get rid of a journalist (Sameer) who prepared a file with evidences on his illegal activities and tells an MLA (Jayaprakash Reddy) to arrange a goon to eliminate him. As it should look like an accident, the local mafia don hatches a plan and burns the entire bus killing all the 50 passengers in it along with the journalist. Now it is the turn of Anjaneyulu to teach a lesson to the home minister, MLA and the mafia don. How Anjaneyulu taught a lesson to them form part of the climax.
